Top 3 Zombie Games That Stands Out

What makes a good Zombie Game?

Everyone has an opinion on this matter. With all the zombies appearing in all forms of media, this genre is not dying anytime soon (or at all, just like zombies) and games are eating this genre a lot. So is there really one best zombie game? Possibly, but it differs among each zombie fan.

The real question should be, “What makes a zombie game standout?”

3. Zombie Shooter – Death Hospital

Now this game is new in the market, but it’s already really good! I’ve been playing this for 2 weeks now and it has that hook on you which is the challenge factor. This game is hard, seriously. You get the feel of it in the first levels with Sector 01-02, which is pretty normal when it comes to difficulty. But then you reach Sector 03 and you suddenly feel like you’re overwhelmed with zombies as it becomes impossible not dying in your first try. Despite the difficulty, the in-game earnings are easy enough and you can find ways to upgrade your weapons to stand a better chance in Sector 03 and above.

Zombie Shooter – Death Hospital also has a mystery in it that you have to crack and solve as the story progresses. You play as the journalist who ends up in the abandoned hospital and is trying to survive, escape, and learn the situation he got ended up with, just because of a bet he lost with his friends.

You learn that there are other survivors in the hospital with you, and you try to find them since that’s the most human thing you have to do in every zombie game, which is good since saving them means there’s one less zombie to kill.

And in this game, there is a lot.

The fact that it’s in mobile, and that you use Gyro sensors makes it fresh and challenging for the most part. It adds to the thrill and experience while adding into the playing field for a zombie game.

It’s a good game, and it’s something people should try!

2.  Left 4 Dead 1 & 2

From what’s new, to what’s old, Left 4 Dead is one of the zombie games that gets a spot in this top zombie game lift for a reason. The co-op part of the game makes the game interesting and definitely made teamwork the main thing you need to survive the game. Each game has 5 campaigns that are different and gives something fun and new, maintaining interest in each of the players of the game. Teammates are your best weapons in this game, so it means you can be the most equipped, but don’t care about your teammates, you won’t last long.

Left 4 Dead is a zombie movie in its own, and its made for teams, where you play in each scenario and it celebrates the zombie genre in more ways than one.

One thing you can also do in L4D is that you can even play as the zombies and try your way to killing the survivors with different game specifics of which zombie character you’ll be playing.

Keeping your team alive is something very new, and cool concept that levels up the gameplay. and will prove to be a good and frustrating game experience for a zombie game.

1. Telltale’s The Walking Dead

Unlike no other, this game uses the story and the decisions you make to either kill someone, get yourself (or someone else) killed, or somehow survive with the choices you made.

You play as Lee who is convicted of murder and ends up in a car crash when the apocalypse started. Then you wake up and discover that the dead is not staying dead, and you find your way out of one zombie attack to another. After awhile, you meet with a little girl named Clementine and decided to help her get to where her parents are.

The gameplay is set to test your humanity and make you decide what YOU think is much more important. And with every choices you make in the game, determines which path you lead the protagonist, and who survives with you as you tread to the world of the The Walking Dead.

Every choice is crucial, and the game makes sure you feel the heaviness of each decision you have to make.

And there you have it.

I’m sure you have a different top 3, and I welcome each of you to share it with me as we talk about zombies and different gameplay and ideas!

So what’s your Top 3 Zombie Games That is Different and Satisfying? And what do you think makes it unique?
